Somos milhões. Trabalhamos, pagamos, e não recebemos nada em troca. Enquanto isso, quem não quer saber recebe tudo, a troco do voto. There are millions of us. We work, we pay, and we get nothing back. Meanwhile those who do not care get everything, in exchange for their vote.

Um Estado pequeno e rápidoA small, fast state
O Estado faz o que só ele pode fazer: infraestrutura, segurança, justiça, ordem e licenciamento. Uma licença decide-se em 90 dias ou considera-se aprovada. Tudo o resto é o mercado que resolve. The state does only what only it can do: infrastructure, security, justice, public order and permits. A permit is decided within 90 days or it counts as approved. Everything else is left to the market.

Imposto sobre o rendimento de 12,5 % desde o primeiro euro, igual para toda a gente, sem escalões e sem deduções. Lucro reinvestido não paga imposto. E não há subsídios, nem para grandes, nem para amigos. Income tax of 12.5 % from the first euro, the same for everyone, no brackets and no deductions. Reinvested profit pays nothing. And no subsidies, for anyone.

Só a Segurança Social é socialSocial security is the only social pillar
Nenhum imposto varia com o rendimento. A progressividade vive no desconto para a Segurança Social. Quem não puder pagar uma escola ou um seguro de saúde tem isso pago pela Segurança Social, directamente à pessoa. No tax varies with income. Progressivity lives in the social security contribution instead. Those who cannot afford a school or health insurance have it paid by social security, directly to the person.

Um salário mínimo de 3.000 €. Não se chega lá com decretos. Chega-se lá acabando com a mão-de-obra barata que permite às empresas pagar mal. A minimum wage of €3,000. Decrees will not get us there. Ending the supply of cheap labour that lets companies pay badly will.
